Do you make your own lingerie?

No, darn near impossible to my way of thinking. I get free bras from Medicare since I have one side that is mine and the other one is a bag of silicone. Plus I am large in that area and have always had to get expensive bras. Tried a couple of times to make one but no way were they wearable. I'm told there is a
shop in the next little town near here that makes bras to match your own shape and can keep the girls up in the air instead of examining what's happening in your pants pockets.
I'm thinking of visiting it at tax return time.

I have done it - back in the dark ages - but finding the right kind of elastic and the right kind of fabric is much harder these days. And as someone else pointed out, bras are a pain, unless you have nothing to hold up.

When my daughters were little, I made some of their panties. They were easy enough, and they liked them. I have never made any for myself though--and not interested in making lingerie anymore--pretty much just quilting and then pajamas for the grandkids at Christmas.

No, I never would sew my own but when I found that expensive really does fit and feel better. I discovered TJ Max and Ross. I don't know if they have these in your part of the world but they take highend name brands and sell them for little more than Wal-Mart prices. I am now willing to spend 3 dollars a pair to get an 8 dollars a pair undies. Same with bras. 15 dollars for the $50 priced bra. Quality with enough money left over to buy more fabric.
