Not really. My Brother PQ1500 is "Big Brother" and my little Brother Disney embroidery machine is "Baby Brother". I don't have names for any of my other machines. Don't name my vehicles either, although I do sweet talk my Ford Expedition. She's almost 20 and has earned lots of love and attention.

My friend Cindi has a DSM and a longarm. She calls them Laverne and Shirley.

I don't necessarily name my machines, but I do decorate some of them. My latest addition is an Eversewn Sparrow 25 - she has a cute little multi-colored bird on the back. My Avante quilting machine has orchids. Just makes me smile.

Don't feel bad, I named both of my DDs and they have both changed their names...Anna is called Mack, and Nina is now legally spelled Nyna. Go figure.
My machines are; inexpensive Brother from Wally World is "Penny", fancy not inexpensive Quilting machine is "Petunia", and my newest machine is a Husqvarna serger named "Paloma".

No, I don't name my machines, and I don't name the vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, or refrigerator.

my featherweight is named Aunt Betty Lou after my neighbor who taught me how to sew a button to fabric when I was 3. she encouraged me to sew by watching her and sitting on her lap.
