Heavens no! He would just say, "see I told you you have more fabric than the store!" I actually had to buy a building 12 x 14 to hold the extra fabric that won't fit in my sewing room. The entire shed is not full of fabric because when I was having to decide what should be stored in it, I got really overwhelmed so I have really slowed down on my fabric acquisition. I couldn't use all my fabric in two lifetimes. I do have OCD really bad.

Which makes me wonder at which point the fabric stops being a blessing and becomes a curse? = )

I don't have to clear purchases with dh but since he spends NO money whatsoever (he has no hobbies, doesn't care about clothes, electronics, books, music, movies, cars, sports, etc) and I actually don't contribute monetarily, I don't exactly advertise how much I spend/spent.

Mine just tells me we don't have the room and I can not grow my stash that big. So to work my self around that, I look for garage sale, estat sale and he cannot complain when I come home with a grocery sack full for thirteen dollars.

I don't have much space, so what I can buy/hold is limited anyway. He did once see my fq collection and thought it was a lot so I showed him what "a lot" REALLY looks like!

Yes,I tell my DH about them, & he tells me to get some more if I want, but we're on a fixed income so I try to make do as much as I can. I don't say much about his buying all his woodworking tools, so he lets me get the occasional fabric find.

My dh and i have a rule, you can never have too much fabric or fishing stuff as long as the bills are paid. :)
