Default Do you square up Leaders and Enders blocks?

Do you square up blocks you make with leaders and Enders?

i made nine patch blocks with my leaders and Enders and despite careful cutting, starching and using a 1/4 in foot the blocks were misshapen ... So I squared them up to the largest I could which is 4.5in...

im im now wondering if I shouldn't have but the blocks were uneven...

I find that no matter how careful I am the blocks are a little off. Yes, I square them up.

It takes more time to square up but you have to it seems. I do a lot of hst for scappies so that's a must for me!

Of course. Every block I make seems to need a little squaring up, doesn't matter if it was created by using leaders/enders or if it is a flying geese block, log cabin... Whatever, blocks need to be squared up in order to fit with each other .

Yes, I have to square up everything. Try as hard as I can to sew perfectly, but it just doesn't happen most of the time.

Yes, even though you started with scraps, it's still a quilt block and I square up all my blocks.

Thanks, all of you have me me feel much better! Sometimes at a retreat I see gals just continuing on sewing without squaring up and I always have thought I must be doing something wrong to pulling or something that some blocks come out a bit skewed. I always square up (inc. my leader/enders) because I thought I was a poor seamstress! I feel better knowing it happens to more!

There are some famous quilters that claim if you cut with precision and sew with precision you won't have to square up.
In their opinion you should never have to. They try very hard to not sound like the quilt police, but we know different. Lol.
