Actually yes, when ironing it's like shopping all over again.

Ya'll can come iron mine. I love designing quilt tops, putting them together, and hand quilting them. Ironing and cutting fabric to me is a chore.

Your not alone, mine tells me I fold "wrong" too! I just blame it one my left-handed tendencies!

I DONT like ironing...yardage..... Yes, I pre wash and do iron. but I just dont like it much. now pressing blocks as I quilt, I am ok with that. Of course my new Oliso iron is making it much nicer. I have had it since July and love it.

PS, I dont like ironing clothes either. I do have a friend and fellow quiliter that loves to iron.....hummmm what can I trade with her????? lol

Nope, ironing is the part of quilting that I hate second-most (only to the actual quilting...I am much more of a topmaker!). I have tried to do without the ironing and pressing but the results are so much better with the iron, so I do it anyway.

You are not alone... I've always enjoyed ironing, even more the last 20 years since I've been quilting.
