Katfish, your third bag, you made longer handles? I was thinking about doubling the length of the handles for mine too!
I made several of the bags, and my friend prefers the handles longer. They are not double in length, but you do have to make two WOF for handles and then cut them to preference. The handle in the pattern is a bit short to sling easily on your shoulder. We also started cutting the fusable stuff more narrow to make the final seams on the handles easier to sew.

I use mine all the time and haven't lost anything yet, I have fabric for another one an am going to use velcro on top. Button never stays closed even though I stitch the loop smaller.

Patty, you have a real talent for design. Are these purses the bow tuck pattern with the ends not tied in? What did you use to make them stand up so nice?

You are so talented, your bow tucks are just pieces of art, I would not be able to part from them, you're so creative.

I use mine all summer long, it's a replica of burberry fabric and I love it even if it doesn't match my outfits I just tag it along, never lost anything.

I ordered it off the internet but I do not remember where I got it. There are lots of places that carry it. It is a great pattern, very versatile. You could make a hundred, all different... each one unique.

Thank you, Judy.....Yes, I use the Bow Tucks pattern but I do change it up a little. Gosh, I don't do anything different to make them stand up....they just do!!!! I do iron them well!!!

That's what I'd like to know. I've been looking for a freebie, but no luck yet. Maybe just use a standard tote pattern and add a pocket on the front and ties on the side?
