Does anyone curse when quilting?

I agree with some of the other posts.... Take a break, relax and start a second small project for "those times". I have discovered when I get overly tired or upset, it is better to put the sewing aside and to grab a good book!
Mama washed my mouth out with lye soap a time or two so the worse I say now is "OH BEANS"...

easiest way I've found to deal with quilting frustration is to put it down for a while and then go back to it. Yeah - I curse when things go wrong and sometimes when they go right if it's good enough to get me excited. LOL.

I have a trash mouth... I'll admit it.
But quilting is very therapeutic for me... every aspect of it gives me peace (and piece... lol). Even when I mess up, I handle the fix/solution as part of the process.
Can you trim the blocks to the same size then sew them together? It doesn't matter if they don't exactly look alike... just as long as they are the same size.
I KNOW... YOU MEANT TO DO IT THAT WAY... IT'S UNIQUE... ONE OF A KIND!!!!

in times like these I walk away, take a breather and either try it again a few hours later or work on something else until I feel more refreshed and able to look at the issue in a better frame of mind.... hang in there.. we have all done it!

Hehe, I totally do. Since we added a little one to the family, I have started snacking on sunflower seeds while quilting so I don't let any foul language slip when I mess up. My latest project has been one issue after another so it's been a adventure in language alteration.
