My Ace hardware has them and the quailty is nice. It's amazing what I buy there. The Elmers spray glue is a lot cheaper than the 505 or any of those. I tested it on a small project and now thats all I use. The blue painters tape goes o sale often.

You might try the Vermont Country Store catalog. They offer a lot of old timey stuff with the original quality we all remember and appreciate.

The Vermont Country Store has them - $12.95 for 4 - is a tad pricey but I can vouch for the quality. http://www.vermontcountrystore.com/s...k_Towels/54649

I was going to suggest this also. The owners were just on Martha Stewart show and they were talking about their towels. I have not ordered so can't say how good they are, but MS seems to like them!!

Default flour sack towels...

I have seen them on EBay. Everyone I have talked to who bought fabric on EBay has had good luck.

You can get flour sack towels at Sam's Club also. I think they are by the dozen. I have also seen them at Aunt Martha's. I have seen them in their catalogue and on the web site. I have also used the ones from WM, and they are also wider than the others I found. Good luck.
