I have a mid-arm but also use my domestic on the smaller quilts. Admit that I am still learning the mid-arm

I am not familiar with the Big E, does it go by another name?
I have Images and World Quilts on my list to go to within the next month.

Okay for a block quilt I lay them on the floor and mesure the back and batting and then add middel and top. Then I pin everything in place and then roll it to the place I am going to start the quilting. then move it to the machine . then work my way out the old scrunch way.

Right now I am using my sewing machine--but I bought a Pfaff that has a 10" throat so I can handle the quilts better. I am saving for a longarm, but need to clean out part of the basement to make room! I also have sent out one top to be quilted professionally. It had too many white blocks where all of my quilting errors could show!!

I believe the official name is Eastern States Exposition. I live in the Albany, NY area and as a child, we used to go every year. My family enjoyed it more than our own State Fair. My dad was so impressed with a Pfaff demonstration there that he bought one for my mom.
