Gremlins attach themselves to me every time I go to a fabric store and don't buy anything.

I always blamed the work of the Gremlins on my 9 kids!! As they grow up and go out on their own, I am beginning to realize that it couldn't be them!! MUST be gremlins since I know it CAN'T be ME!!

I have a creatie mess My step grandaughter uses my sewing room also. she is very organized and neat. After she organizes my stuff I cant find anything. She also only has one project at a time I have 10 or so going and it drives her crazy

I love cleaning/reorganizing my room....though I do not do it often. Its like going shopping...I totally forgot that I have so much in my stash...this cures the need to go shopping. What a money saver....

I would rather blame it on that gremlin than think my mind is going...

Sometimes when I reorganize my sewing room I actually find things that I forgot I had.

I spent several days the fall, folding, inventorying, and reorganizing all my fabrics and cleaning the sewing room. Was so pleased with myself. Ever since, have had a devil of a time finding anything. Lost an entire honeybun roll. Must be I put it in a real good place. Perhaps I should ask Santa to bring me a replacement.

Yes, but less often. My sorting plan hasn't changed in some years because what I have now works better for me. I think it depends on how much stash you have and whether you have tons of novelties or not. I do. I have a box for Christmas (down from 2 boxes), large box Halloween, Asian, then 3 boxes with various other novelties. The rest of the fabric is sorted by color group. I have a lot of stuff kitted - sometimes I forget that something is already in a kit.
