I'm so used to doing this kind of thing it is no bother at all. I just fix it.

Better just unsew the one block and flip it now....it will haunt you the rest of our adult days, if you don't! LOL

I would fix it also. I made a baby quilt for a neighbor's son's baby. After it was quilted I noticed a mistake. I gave it to them anyway figuring they probably wouldn't notice. The next time I saw them he didn't mention the mistake but said " I guess it's easy to make a mistake when you're sewing?" I said "Yeah, it happens a lot." and left it at that.

What you see as a mistake, I thought you had done so there would be a focal point. Green tip in middle floral to each side. It is pretty to my eyes.

Yes, it happens. I am trying to finish a flying geese that I changed block layout midstream, a bad idea. But done by Christmas (2days) it shall be. Whats a few beaks among a flock of geese.

Yes, this. Even if you have to sew some in by hand I think it will make you happier and more sane. LOL The top looks gorgeous!

Quote: I made this same pattern last year and did the same thing. I just "unsewed" that 1 block gave it a turn and resewed it. You'll be happier if you fix it now

if it is just that one block, turn it...it is not that hard and technically you are DONE!

It's too pretty not to fix. You'll be glad you did.

OMgosh. I had to look several times to see what you meant. It is a beautiful quilt and I personally would leave it and say I did it for a reason.......My dd does this on her crossstitches. Thanks for showing us. I know the nice quilt police would say to re=do and a professional would.....well, I'm not either. Happy holidays.
