That really looks good. I would never have thought about using it for quilting.

The back isn't as attractive. Basically it is a zigzag. Would be fine for a wallhanging; not so sure about a bed quilt.

I bought the double needle when JoAnn's had notions for half price, haven't tried this, but I agree, now I want to.

I have used twin needles. I don't think I would use them for quilting because the bottom stitches aren't very pretty.

I have a double needle for my machine bu have not used it, now I know what it can do I can't wait to try. To those that have used a double needle what does it look like on the back?
