I have a few very nice Threadcatchers, that said, I usually tape a small brown paper bag to my sewing table to catch the threads and stuff too small to ever be used. Scraps I just push into the bin on the floor. I love Eleanor, she's been a great inspiration to me through the years. I have to add Bonnie Hunter and Jenny Doan to my favorite quilters to learn from.

Eleanor was my inspiration many, many years ago when I was a stay-at-home mom with small babies. She's taught me so much over the years about quilting, recovering from unfortunate circumstances (read her bio), making positive choices in life & so much more. I fortunately had the opportunity to meet her & thank her for her inspiration last summer. she lives in my heart...and my sewing room

That's a funny story ! I actually have a tiny bag of scraps that Eleanor Burns threw over her shoulder ! And it's labeled as such. I follow her method everyday and vacuum later. lol I guess I should put them in a string quilt so I know alittle bit of Eleanor is in my quilt.. lol

Me too, thats my story and I am sticking to it. I learned how to quilt watching her on tv and so goes the threads and scraps. My DH bought me a childs rake to rake my scraps and threads on the floor into a pile for easier gathering and it works great. I am very grateful to E.B. for all she had on TV back then in the 1980-90s..........But I have seen your pictures on this board and you all do a great job=======!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
