    Default Elmers glue on flannel?

I am ready to sandwich a flannel top and flannel back with Legacy cotton batting. Can I use elmers glue on flannel or would it be better to 505 spray baste? I am a total fan of elmers glue and would love to do that if it works on flannel. Guess I could try a little practice piece to test.

Elmer's School Glue should work on any cotton fabric.

I used the glue on a flannel quilt binding and it worked fine. Can't imagine why it wouldn't work on the sandwich.

I use the glue on cotton, flannel, fleece, minky. The greatest tip I ever received here on the Board was to use the glue!

Michell is right .... school glue must have been invented for quilting, just slow in getting there! I found that it even works on polyester and anything washable.

Ditto! And I'll add "satin" to the list since I bind my baby quilts with a wide border of flannel backed satin.

I find that I have not had any problems using elmer's glue for "basting". It is much faster and soooooooo easy, I love it.
