EQ7 Question
#15
I use the digital features more then the designing ones. I can import any picture of a whole quilt or block, trace it, covert it to rotary cutting pieces, template, or foundation piecing, any size I want. it's worth learning the advanced features. There are many blogs that have detailed tutorials on shortcuts and how tos.

I have had computer problems, so an holding off installing. new hard drive w/ 64 bit installed. I had EQ6 for a couple of months and was going to finish going through the simplified book that I have. Now EQ 6 has been reloaded. Try to see if I can get anything off the old hard drive that crashed. I really need to start backing up as I lost alot of documents I need.

Bellaboo, could you give more info about the EQ blogs and help available online? I have EQ 7, and have read over the book but haven't actually started using it. My quilt friends in the area aren't in to computer quilt programs and I could use a little help now and then. I believe it will be very helpful!

I've just started using my EQ7 and am still learning the do it yourself design features. Using the blocks and fabrics already in the libraries is pretty straightforward. Don't yet have a scanner, but that will enable me to use the main reason I bought it, scanning in my own fabrics, since lots of my stash is vintage stuff.
