I buy a lot online and it's always the clearance or sale stuff... Why rush to buy when fabrics first come out? It's just going to sit on my shelf a while, anyway! ) I LOVE the clearance sales....

Mostly I shop my stash but I'm realizing that much of what I use most is getting depleted so I'm going to have to seriously look for some basic blenders in certain colors in order to avoid that last minute rush to the store for what is needed for the project I started at midnight. 😉

I try to buy fabrics for the project I am working on and 99% of the time the fabric is from a LQS. I am fearful of having a large stash so I try not to buy on impulse... purchase with purpose.

I reclaim a lot of fabric-----------used to be bed ruffle, now rag quilt material and so on.

I do like the idea of buying a little yardage of the one new, fashionable, trendy fabric that you just have to have and filling in with sale fabrics. However, I have learned that whatever you think is gorgeous right now, there'll be something else just as gorgeous tomorrow.

I just came across an online shop that is closing and has some really good prices while the fabric lasts. It's already picked over, but there may still be some good stuff. I ordered mostly solids. Ordered one day and it shipped the next. I've never ordered from them before. Will let you know when the order arrives how I liked it. Wow. There are some fantastic prices here! Thanks for posting.

You're welcome. I have to correct myself though....My order shipped the day I placed it. Still haven't received it as it went regular mail I think, so after Christmas I'm sure! Did you place an order?
