I think that fabric clashes with the others. I'd use it in a binding or border.

Why don't you use the beige from your first post as the background color instead of the pale aqua? It would make the star pop a lot more.

The circular print seems to take away from the beautiful star. My eyes have no where to rest. How about introducting the beige that is quiet in your star to frame it. Make that star POP!

I like it, the circles does a few things for me, adds some movement to the overall piece and both high-lites the sharp points while making the aqua against the dark points seem 3-D.

I also think it takes away from the beauty of the star. I would use something more solid around the star & then sneak the bubble fabric in elsewhere. I just think it is to busy to be next to the star.

It gets my vote for liking it too! It's young and enthusiastic! I think it would also be pretty with the beige you originally asked about. Like someone else said, you could always use this in a border if you're unsure.

I'm no designer but...I love the star and all the hard work you've put into that lovely design. I love the colors of the star. Absolutely excellent piecing! I am not smitten with the print. I like a contrast, something to really frame it. There's too much white out there at the end; how about some of the turquoise solid?

I love the fabric, but not for this quilt. IMHO, it's too busy and you lose the focus on the star.

I think I would use that only as the star and the dark aqua where you have that now.

I like what you have done so far. The center of the quilt still stands out. And the corner peices you used has some of the color's of the star also. Just jokeing, but put me on the list as to who you'll pass it on too.-Ha-ha).
