I wash almost everything. Although I try to buy mostly washable clothing, sometimes I wash things that say "DRY CLEAN ONLY". I just do it carefully and dont always put it in the dryer or only for a short time and then lay flat to dry.

I agree, buy a small piece and try washing it. I think mix and match and use what you love...but then, I am not a very good sewer or quilter. I sew mostly for charity and I tell everyone....I do NOT make works of art...I make works of love. I am anxious to see what you make when it is done. ENJOY.
