I will shop online if I need to fill in a fabric and have not been able to find it locally. Otherwise, I want to feel the fabric, commune with the fabric, become one with the fabric.

I really have to disagree. The new lines we're seeing come in lately are some of the most exciting I've seen.

Some companies, however, seem to be just doing sequels to older lines, kinda like the movies.

And the fashion always moves in cycles, toward and away from your personal taste...

I am with you...NOTHING excites me this fall..not even my beloved Christmas/Winter themes...like you, I have way better fabrics in my stash/collections...the quality is also not as good this year...sad...the cost is also pretty dang scary!

I have always loved elegant Christmas fabrics & I haven't seen anything that really trips my trigger yet this year.
