I made two quilts using this pattern this spring. Yes, I used your photo as inspiration and used odds and ends of batiks. I agree the pattern is easy and fast. I had not thought of this for a baby quilt but why not! I will now!

My favorite is also Warm Wishes...have made lots of them. I always think I am not going to like it when I am laying it out but always am happy with it when it is done. I like the fact that I can quilt it going across the focus fabric from corner to corner and just eyeball it instead of marking.
