How exciting for you. I was lucky enough to receive my Grandmothers treddle sewing machine. It is a great reminder of her.

My daughter is going to be putting together my grandmother in laws blankets for 10 years, lol. She only made tops and gave the finished ones to the grandchildren .Some of the other children didn`t want that old stuff.
Mim was a hoarder, now gracefully called a stasher.
My grandson is 5 and he will inherit a lot of quilts some day, plus ones he already has.

I'm happy for you. I wish I could have gotten my grandmother's sewing stuff. Was lucky to have gotten her sewing chair; she gave it tome when I was pregnant with my 1st child and she's now 40.
