WOW-Love it as I am sure your grand daughter will. I agree that its not hot pink or pink that your niece wanted...You made the comment that your grand daughter was "a child after your own heart" - maybe when the colors spoke to you you were actually channeling her lol Good luck on the nieces quilt - You did a wonderful job using from your stash - something I need to do lol Thanks for sharing

This is a beautiful quilt! I can't wait to make a French braid. I just bought 2 books on them.

I wouldn't have been brave enough to put those colors together BUT they worked out great. It's a happy quilt and your GD will be so happy to have it. Love it.

That is an absolute stunner. If you had just described it to me and I had not seen the picture, I would have thought, hmmm? Doesn't sound like anything I would like. Just goes to show...don't pre-judge until you actually see.

Hmmm - black and white and red - very dramatic. Like it a lot

OH it set me to humming also , the colors are so vibriante (Missed spell) I love it must be the Indian blood that the colors trigger.

I agree that it is more orange than pink on my computer, but I love it anyway. It shines and sparkles. If it were mine, I wouldn't even consider giving it to someone else. I'd keep it on my bed.
