Default Finished Piecing First Quilt Top

This is my first attempt at piecing a quilt top. It is the Diamond Log Cabin Star. After starting it, I was fairly new to the board and decided that it was a rather ambitious first project but after auditioning several fabrics, switching back and forth and much angst, this is the finished project with accompanying pictures, I hope. Thanks for looking at my quilt top.

Yes that's ambitious! But wow, you did it...nicely I might add.

Looks great to me! I am still too scared to try something like this; kudos to you!

It sure is ambitious for the first try, but it came out beautiful. Pat yourself on the back. I love the colors

I would be very proud of myself if I would make one like yours and it would not be my first! You did a wonderful job and I love the colors you used.

Good job! Sometimes the good thing about being a newbie is that you don't know what is supposed to be difficult so you attempt it without fear or hesitation. Keep up the good work!
