I ordered one for our guild. It was $24 and it contains just about everything you can think of. Even a mask for doing CPR.

First Aide kits are an excellent idea. But remember that some supplies have expiration dates. Someone has to remember to inspect it from time to time.
It is something I didn't think about for quilting until now.

Great ideas - Those rotary cutter accidents can easily happen.

great idea about the address on the first aid kit! And checking for expiration dates. One thing I'd like to see added to our first aid kit is that surgical glue--most of us are finding out that if we get a rotary cut the ER mends with that stuff.

In our Master Gardener group are a great number of nurses. They arranged to have defib machines in our meeting place, at the fairgrounds. It is used by a lot of groups and so we are really prepared. But all of us are older, too.

I am going to be creating a first aid box for my sewing room. Great idea!
In my quilting class at a vocational school, a lady cut herself with a rotary cutter. We called security and they wanted to investigate rather than call 911! We have a first aid kit, but it needed more than that, which is why we thought the call should be made.

may I suggest including a few pairs of thin cheap plastic gloves (food workers gloves). While a band aid is good, adding a cut off finger over the band aid works wonders.

I had never thought of adding the address either. What a great, and wise, addition. I am sharing it with everyone I know!
