It's a wonderful, touching story about your mom. Quilting can show so much love. I just finished a quilt that my MIL started for my DH. She made one for her bed when she retired and all the "kids" liked it so much, she started at the top of the list and made one for each one. My DH is the youngest and his was not completed befroe we lost her. I promised her I would finish it for her. She was in tears but relieved to know that her promice to her kids would be kept, and now so is my promise to her.
