Fons & Porter

Lets face it, The daughter has some pretty big shoes to fill, and we all had to be new at something sometime or another in our lives. We do have to let the younger generation have a chance. She is doing the best she knows how. Merry Christmas to all.

I heard that she wanted to retire and spend more time with her family. I didn't know she moved, but I can understand wanting to be closer to ones kids.
I ended up close to DS#2. He bought the house across the street!!!!! Now at first I wondered if that was TOOOOOOO close, but its worked out wonderfully. AND he removes snow. and mows the yard. And he works for food--grin

Fons and Porter's Love of Quilting - show airs weekly on local PBS channel. Here in Kansas City it plays 8:00 am on Saturday morning, followed by Sewing With Nancy. Check your local PBS Guide online.

On direct TV there are episodes of Fons & Porter every weekday at 6:30 am and 6:30 pm eastern time on the BYU channel 374. Some of these are older episodes without Mary Fons. Sorry, but she turns me right off, there is such a thing as listening and learning.
Eleanor Burns is on RFD channel 345 on Wed. at 2:30 and again after midnight, same program.
Hope this helps anyone who has Direct TV, I have no idea about Dish network but if do a search for quilting shows you might find something.

I was wondering how it would affect the show also. The guest that she has had on the program haven't been very impressive, and I'm easy to impress. Let's hope for the best for the show, perhaps it will get better.

I don't get to see the show here anymore. What quilting shows they do show are on at 7am and thats only when they don't have something else they would rather show at that time. cooking or traveling programs are more important that sewing or quilting I guess.
