I'm thinking if it continues to bother me that i may go over the design again with a variegated thread to help conceal the white markings. live and learn!!!

An elderly quilter friend of mine mixes Dawn dishwashing liquid, alcohol, and water. She applies it with a toothbrush and scrubs the markings away. I had accidently marked muslin with a dressmakers marker and I was able to remove it with her mixture.
Good luck.

I read in a post a one or so ago to use a magic eraser to take off marking lines. Havent tried it but they said it worked great.
