I'm still not sewing due to my vision issues but I've decided that I can do a win/win by donating fabric to my sewing group for donation projects. Most of these gals fit more into the Beginner/Intermediate level (nothing wrong with that!) and will need directions specifically for small quilts. Most are also pretty much non-computer users so youtube tutorials aren't so helpful but can use smart phones to look at specific links. I can download and print. Here's some I already have -- maybe some of you have favorite sites.
Bear Creek Quilting maintains a wonderful library of fabric manufacturer's patters:

Quiltmaker Project Linus free projects

(I was having problems getting this to load today and finally got a site update message)
American Patchwork and Quilting Baby quilts has a lot here:

I am so sorry you are not able to sew and that your vision issues are preventing lots of things for you, I am sure. What a generous spirit and great outlook, to help not only the charities, but also new quilters. Bless you-Toogie

I haven't taken the time to look at the sites to see what patterns are there, but if you have a large-scale print, then using that as feature squares and either alternating the blocks with simple 4-patches in two coordinating colours or adding a frame (again, maybe in alternating but coordinating colours) around the blocks could be a good quilt that doesn't require a complicated pattern.

Snowball blocks are also good/easy for large prints. You can do various things with the colors, random, alternating, or all the same... Add sashing and you get sort of a shoo fly design at the corners.
Alternating 9-patches and solid blocks is also a single Irish chain which again changes depending on fabric selection and whether you use the alternating square fabric in the blocks or not, or if you emphasis the 4-blocks into sort of "posies" instead of the diagonals. And again, a sashing can add extra variations.
With low computer usage, and more beginning skill levels, I'm not sure if giving them search terms to look at color/design options on Pinterest or other google searches will be enough. I think one of the hardest things for newer quilters to do is to take the leap to select their own fabrics and modify directions to their desired sizes.

There are sure a lot of free baby quilt patterns out there. One is https://www.allpeoplequilt.com/quilt...ts/quilts-kids One in particular was a large log cabin https://www.allpeoplequilt.com/quilt...s/around-block
then there is https://www.polkadotchair.com/free-baby-quilt-patterns/ and http://www.abrightcorner.com/2017/01...al-reboot.html looks nice, too.
I didn't have any problem opening https://quilttaffy.blogspot.com/2008...e-pattern.html
I also went to the wayback machine and found https://web.archive.org/web/20090908...e-pattern.html while I think it had been edited from what it was today, I clicked on some links from the wayback machine and found a pdf at https://web.archive.org/web/20110915...speedybaby.pdf

The problem is not opening the file, it's when you try to download the pattern. It goes to a download that changes your search engine to Yahoo!. The second time I tried it, it went to another download re-direct. The third time I tried to download it, I got a "you have been high-jacked" message that said to "call Microsoft". I could not close the page. I had to re-start my machine to get rid of it. Do not click on that download link.

You shouldn't have any problems opening the archive pdf. I think the pdf is a little different as one of the borders is solid rather than charm squares. I had problems opening from the current site, but I just did open the one from archive. And found the pdf for the Speedy Baby 2 pdf at https://web.archive.org/web/20091007...peedyBaby2.pdf

It's going to take me a bit to get through OurWorkBench's links!
I did have problems with the Taffy version of the quick quilt. My browser protections wouldn't let me do the downloads but the Speedy Baby 2 (same thing) worked just fine.
Tomorrow is my group day -- although I have pulled quite a bit of fabric, I am going to ask the group what their issues might be. I can't help with lack of interest or time, but I can help with patterns/inspiration and fabric, and maybe batting. I have the financial ability to buy a roll of batting to use, usually so much more economical than individual batts. Some organizations are very specific that they want all cotton -- other groups prefer poly batts.
