Depends on what tou an for the binding. Dark binding, go with the one on the left. Light binding, the one on the right.

Thanks to Dunster for finding that second rendition. In the shabby one the blocks are NOT on point and the borders are totally different: Michele at MKC caught that too. I was so afraid of starting that and not being able to finish because of not having enough fabric, that I bought lots of extra. I have another 4 yards of the border, plus a layer cake and a half yard bundle. And the fabric in the kit was generous. So I'm actually making a set of CW-not piecing the past blocks ( block of the week) out of that fabric.

I took off the sewn on border and am ready to turn it around. The thing I am concerned with now, is that every time I take something out or mess with it more than twice, I get a wad of threads and fraying like mad.

I am so almost done!!!.......and then feline fanatic comes on with those curved rulers and that totally awesome quilt. More stuff to buy.

You won't be sorry you turned the border around. Your quilt is gorgeous and I love the "on point" to set off the blocks.

That fabric is so beautiful, it doesn't really matter which way it gets put on. I love both ways.

Since you have so much fabric like that, I'm sure you will be making another one. Then you can put that border on the other way.

I would also turn the right around. For me it tends to lead my eye away from the beautiful work you've done on the middle.

I like the left side better also. That is a stunning quilt. Love the colours & the design. It is going to be awesome when it's all finished. Keep up the great work.

Beautiful top! I love that line of fabric. Yes, I would take it off & turn it around also. I think it will look nicer but it is going to bother you forever if you don't. You have done an awesome job!

I agree - left border is great. I know it will be a lot of work but I think it will be worth it.
