Default Friendship Star Swap

I just finished this top today. It was from a swap from several years ago. Trying to get some of these blocks to match up was a trick. LOL. I didn't have anywhere flat to get a better pic, so it looks a little wonky but its really not. Trying to decide what to do about a border. Any ideas?? I don't have any fabric that matches any of the stars, but it looks like it needs something. I thought about keeping my eye out for material done in red, orange, yellow and purple..thats the colors of the stars if it doesn't come thru right in the pic.
Thanks,
Tammy D

Very nice! You're right, a nice rainbow type of border will look great.

Pretty, maybe a double or triple border using a couple of the main colors. Maybe the interior border is 1 and 1/2 inches and the second color is 3 inches...just an idea.

Three borders--narrow 1 inch from red or orange then a wider border--2 and 1/2 or 3 out of yellow and then a 4 inch border our of dark blue. It is a beautiful quilt! froggyintexas

that's pretty -- you could do whatever you want with borders -- it will just enhance it!
