I do know that I had finished the top quilt on a various dog applique and I can't find it. I also know that there's x-block quilt that the top is also finished but it can't be located it either. I'm sure those quilt tops and other UFO's will pop up soon, I hope.

I keep saying "I'm making this quilt for myself" but for some reason it always seems to "find another home" Of course, my daughter is famous for saying, "I should always get the first one you make of any pattern!"
I make one very special quilt each year. I find a war veteran and give it to him or her with a letter of THANK YOU FOR MY FREEDOM. Sometimes this veteran is someone I know, but most of the time it is a total stranger. No I don't do this on Veteran's Day. I just do this whenever I get the quilt done.
I've donated quilts to the local battered woman's shelter and to the police and fire departments. I made and donated quilts to an organization called NEWBORNS IN NEED.
As far as how many have I made? Sorry, I just don't count them anymore. As far as for myself? I'll get that accomplished one of these days.
