    Your chickens don't have to all be on the "ledge", they are standing at different distances or flapping their wings I like that they are not all facing the same way.

    The difference is: Are the chickens standing on the ledge of the window, or they outside and you are looking at them through the window. I think yours are outside, and we are looking at them through the window. So they need to be at different levels.
