I was too tired to work on it last night, but this morning I got up, put some brownies together to warm the place up & went to work. I am happy to say, 2 pretty little butterflies are placed at opposite ends as mystery surprises (Only one is covering a hole)& the binding now goes all the way around the quilt! Even the corners behaved this morning & are ready to be hand-stitched down to the back of the quilt! If I didn't have yet another dr. appt, it would be a wonderful day!!!

Put a little applique on the snipped spot. Learned this from a lady who did trunk show for guild. She uses an acorn to cover errors. Now she puts an acorn on every quilt. Her trademark. Don't worry about lack of fabric. Substitute another piece in binding, just like you did it intentionally. Multi fabric bindings look great. The person you made it for will love it. It is truly gorgeous.
