My daughter has them for her classroom. She has been using them for 6 years - each student has their own drawer and others are used for items turned in, extra lined paper, etc. It has held up so far.

i own one and that is more that enough. lol i have my rubber stamps in them but it does not do a very good job at all.
if i dont use them often the the dust collects on the stamp and i have to wash tehm before i use them. the drawers do come off of the track all of the time. i have a 6 draw plastic one all white with wheels that i got from walmart. i like that one much better. the drawers close tight and keep the dust out. i keep all of my emb. thread in the top three drawers and cutter, ruler small ones and clips in the bottom three drawers. i have three of them and i really like them. they have lasted me many years already and no a sign of wear yet. i like the fact that the drawers close tight the best. blessings ogama

I have a double wide one that has these shallow drawers on one side and deeper drawers on the other. I use mine as a project organizer. I like it enough that I've thought of getting another one. The drawers do come off the glides easily, but I like how easy it is to take the whole drawer out to sort through. I keep all the fabrics for a project in the drawers.

I read somewhere that if you take one side of the black rubber things out when putting it together that it makes the drawers fit more snuggly and don't fall out anymore. I am hoping that is correct. I foun them at SAMs that are all brown(more my style) for $30 so DH is going to pick it up for me today! So much better than waiting til next week lol

I would choose something with clear drawers. Joanne's has a nice three drawer unit. It's a good deal with a coupon. I have two of them for scrappy organization.

I did buy one of these but find the drawers are too shallow to put much in them. I keep some of my quilting patterns and some embroidery patterns in the drawers. I tried using the drawers for material but they just do not hold enough to be worthwile as a material storage space. Perhaps small scraps would work fine.

I was given one for my birthday a couple of years ago. I love it. I too typicaly use clear containers, but what I did was place labels on the drawers and they work really well.

I have one. I use it to hold precut blocks of various sizes. Also for fat quarters. I think the shelves/drawers are too shallow to be very useful for scraps but I have found lots of quilt related items that store in them very nicely.
