Yes, I have seen that one and it looks like I may have to buy a pattern. Can't seem to find one for free anywhere.

If you wanted to take graph paper, I'm sure you could draft one up. Doesn't look to be that hard.

I'm no good at that sort of stuff..I'm just learning to quilt so right now I'd like to stick with patterns

It is funny to me that you are interested in the Gordian Knot pattern. I had just been looking in Jinny Beyer's book, The Quilter's Album of Patchwork Patterns: 4050 Pieced Blocks for Quilters, the other day and loved the block. She has it listed as a 21 x 21 grid block. I was so intrigued, I drew it in EQ for drawing practice. It is not so very complex once you break it out.

Try google 'welsh Celtic knot quilt pattern'and look in images . Also try mcCalls for this
Celtic Knot: FREE Ireland-Themed Quilt Block Pattern which is free.
I'm not sure what your pattern looks like. The pattern here is made with sticky bias binding and runs into the shape.
