I second this statement. This QB is the most amazing, helpful, inspirational, thoughtful place anywhere on the internet & a lot of that comes from the moderators who share their time etc. to help those of us who need the help.
The members are the best. I have received so much help from this board that I cannot count the number of times I have been stuck with a problem or whatever & someone here always comes thru for me (& I am sure for many others). Thank you doesn't seem to quite fit the bill but a huge thank you comes from me. The highlight of my day is to check the QB. We, as members owe a huge debt of gratitude to those who are generous with their expertise & I too, hope to reciprocate to others. THANK YOU ALL.

We live in such a remote area, I had to find 'like-minded' humans to learn from. I love to quilt, and have learned so many tips and tricks, video links, suggestions, and some wonderful personalities on this board. I'm grateful to have you to awaken to each morning with my first cup of coffee. I check this board before I begin my quilting, housework, or even preparing for whatever the day entails. I'm grateful to have you all - and am blessed so many will share information without asking me to open my wallet....

I joined several quilt yahoo groups but this is the one I love! The people on the QB are caring individuals with a common goal - to enjoy this addiction we call quilting!! Everyone is helpful and I get so much help and information not to mention the inspiration!! Thanks everyone!!

I wanted to take a minute to thank all of you here on this board for the free sharing of information on products and techniques and sources. I've received the equivalent of a PhD by reading the posts.

For days now, I've been searching on You Tube for a quilt video I wanted to make. I lost it after a late Saturday night's browsing and had to do a system restore on my computer, which took out my history. This morning, in reading a new post, I went to one of the suggested links and found the thread that took me to the lost video. Thank you!!

I got to thinking about all the good things I've gotten from this board and so far, my favorites include: pinmoors, Triangulation software (oh the joy!), the June Tailor ruler (make my own jelly rolls), Bailey's longarm quilting machines (in the dream category.)

What have you found that has made your life, as a quilter sooo much better by finding it on this board?
I greatly appreciate that this QB and the people on it are so very kind. When life has been hard, I'm always able to get on and find things and people that can make your day (or life), better. I have learned all kinds of sew and quilting tips. I have learned that NO rule is set in STONE. I've found that we ALL differ in our quilting styles and likes, but still have open minds to helping each other with fabric, software, machines, videos or just a shoulder for crying on. Some times the Rat Race gets too much, but the QB can make you laugh or get that UFO finished. My fabric stash has grown and so has my heart with all the kind things that I see and read about every day on the QB.

I am so grateful to you all.
I agree wholeheartedly. I start my day with the board and so many ideas form that I can hardly wait to begin sewing. I have learned sooooo much over the last couple years because of you. I, too, have no close quilting friends so the friendship and sharing is fantastic. Thank you one and all !

Being self taught on sewing/quilting and crafting- its nice to go to a board and learn something new and then implement it. So many wonderful people on the board who share a common interest with hints about this or that- makes it very nice. Then for the "newbie" sometimes a frustrating item to them is a hint from another on here that was learned by accident and passed onto help that new person ..
Thanks to each and every one of you who started this Board and those who add to it .. from me & Brie ..(the avatar-boss lady of the quilting-who makes sure its right !LOL)

I like all the tips, generous sharing of knowledge, but most of all, the friendly spirit of all who inhabit this space. Thanks to all who log in on this great space. Thanks to the moderators who give so unselfishly of their time.
