Maybe a loved one is adding to your stash secretly.

If only we could predict which one are the most fertile....I think my scraps need some family planning counseling.

If we could only figure out which fabrics are male and which were female, we could separate them and maybe we could stop them from multiplying. Or maybe fabric birth control....:-)

I have tons of scraps that need to be in a quilt and now since I am retired I might be able to get on it. I am looking forward to revisiting all the fabrics I have used for clothes for my three girls (now 28 and 40, and 8). How time flies! I have vowed to start a scrap quilt as soon as my current projects are done (lol) So optimistic. I know my stash has multiplied several generations worth. It used to be a small trash bag and now it has morphed into 3 large ones. They've been busy :)

Congratulations! If that's the case, you'll never have to buy fabric again!!!

It's been raining, thundering and lightning the past couple of days and I was afraid to have my machine turned on so I decided to take a good long look at the fabric stored in baskets under my cutting table. It's been a while and I found fabric I forgot I had. I have 5 baskets sorted and organized with 7 to go!! What a job it's turning out to be !! No promises as to how long this will last either

Before-at least the top isn't that bad

This thread has me thinking... maybe what I have is not entirely a sewing room ... maybe part of it is a "Scrap Farm"... and yes there is plenty waiting for harvest.
