I will have to check them out. Haven't had much luck with Wal-mart lately. Hope to find some fabric in the 400 mile yard sale.

I wish our walmarts still had fabric. Zilch-nada. I hate that they cut the crafts dept.

It started today...goes through Saturday and is 400 miles long all along highway 68. Today I went from Draffenville to Aurora. Didn't find too much that I couldn't live without.

Rexie it is nice to know that someone from the QB lives so close to me. Maybe we could meet some time, if you don't want to that's ok. Carrie

That would be nice. Right now I am running to Paducah a lot to see my BFF that has small cell lung cancer. But will try to do that sometime.

If you hear that your local W-M is going to close its fabric department, call the corporate headquarters and request that they keep their fabric at that specific store. The clerks in the fabric department can tell you where to call and give you the store number.

When our W-M was going to remove the fabric department, we asked all of the members of the local guilds to call. We also asked parents of students at the local schools to call, since most of the students get their fabric at W-M for their sewing projects.

Due to the number of call they received, they decided to keep their fabric department. That was about 3 years ago.
