You're not the only one. I was trying to find the name and look it up to see where it was and whether it had a website. It
all went by too fast, and I couldn't pick up the name.

it is not real, I worked for a radio station for a couple yrs and those people who do the commercials sometimes don't know anything about the product. I am saying most of the time.

Am I the only quilter here who's looked at that commercial and wondered if its a real quilt shop and if its anywhere nearby?
I saw it too -but no details.

H & R Block was unfare to me when I took their classes and worked ther for a season. it was a Click and they were afraid I might be as good as some of them. I would not step foot in there either. I have been doing taxes for years- myself.

When my husband was in Iraq and I was in Ft. Campbell I went to H&R Block to have our taxes done (they were in a military town I figured they would know how to deal with military taxes). Not only was I there for FIVE HOURS with a toddler and a baby but they didn't know a damn thing that they were doing and I ended up walking out before they were done, driving 330 miles back home(non military town) to get them done with "our" accountant. Took about 30 minutes and we got back double what H&R block said we would get. I'll spend the extra money to have an accountant do my taxes.
I'll second that about HRB. I worked for a large local accounting firm and you'd be surprised how many clients we had come in after being at HRB and JH. Lots of errors, AND we were cheaper, too!

I am now retired, but in the past I was an accountant with my own business and prepared many tax returns.......and had to amend a lot of H&R Block returns prepared the year before because of errors made by H&R Block but also amended several because the taxpayer themselves made mistakes when they did them by themselves.

I worked in an HRB during the summer. We spent all summer fixing accountant's tax returns.

The accuracy of any tax return depends entirely upon the individual preparing the return, NOT where they work.

Yes, that quilt shop is in Greenback, TN which is between Maryville and Madisonville. I've been to the shop a few times and they have excellent prices on top quality merchandize. It's not a very big shop, but very friendly and a pleasure to shop there. And I saw her interview on the local NBC station, too. She is a really nice lady doing her best to keep prices down for her fellow quilters.
