Quilting in the daytime makes me feel guilty, like I should be doing some "housework" thing.

I quilt mostly in the evening when the family is watching TV. Though I also quilt on the weekends when I've finished any housework or studying I have to do. Since I work full time, I figure when the chores are done it's time for fun, and quilting is so relaxing to me.

I mostly hand quilt in the evening. I work full time during the day. Friday night and Saturday morning I get my chores and housework done - then the rest of the weekend is free for what I choose. That could be socialising or hand quilting during the day :)
No guilt required because everything is clean and tidy :)
I have modified the "FlyLady"s programme for my housework - so it really doesn't take me long to do anything. I menu-plan according to the seasons, and I use my slow cooker a lot. Makes meal time easier to shop for and much faster.

I do piecing, cutting and all the rest during the day and that feels OK. But sitting, relaxing and quilting (just like reading a book), only happens in the evening. So I'm anxious to know when you quilt.

I only hand quilt when I have a project to finish like right now I am working on a king size bed quilt for my niece for Christmas. I usually will quilt for 4 hours every day when I have finished feeding all the animals.
