This is a pretty cool quilt.
If you do a search at the top of this page, you can find a lot of info about a lot of patterens & other info too.

Recently made a 3 fabric warm wishes for a friends new grand daughter. Used left over Beatrice Potter fabric for the fussy cut blocks and a lite yellow and pink polka dots for the other 3 colors. ALso found a bunny print that wasn't a coordinating fabric but very close.

The quilts are beautiful looking. Where can I find the pattern? I want to do a quick quilt to donate to an fund raiser for the cancr society. This looks as though it would go rather quickly.

Sorry I missed the post by sew jean going there to find the pattern.

You gals are always right on the money.

Now I just need a quick way to put binding on without doing all the hand sewing. Any tips from any of you?

jan,
your purple one is heavenly.

My grandduaghter would love those colors. I could do fairies for the the squares. I can hearing her squealing with joy.

I like that arrangement with only the focus fabric and the two colors for stripes. The FF as a middle stripe is nice. Good job.

I've never thought of varying the widths of the stripes. Now I want to make another WW. I've got a top made but no way to send a picture. It's a red, black and tan color scheme (stripes) with a music theme focus fabric in those colors. Used the same stripes as borders.

It does go fast. You don't really need a pattern, I didn't use one. I cut my center squares at 4.5 inches, so that was my personal measurement. I sewed together 2 strips of 3" each, then cut them at 4.5" (same as the center block) for the longer pieces and 3" for the 4 patches. One block at a time, one row at a time till it's the size you want, and you'll get into the process quickly. You don't have to use 4 patches that was how I made it my way. Just make the strips the same size as the blocks, bigger or smaller, your own personal measurement.
