I agree with the mistake thing...mine all have multiples of those...and...yes, I do point them out..and no I'm not virgo..but I do it anyway.
I'm so new to quilting that I try to do something very different on each quilt so I learn a new technique or block..so I purposely try not to do anything the same on any quilt right now. I do tend to always have some type of star block in all my quilts though.

 I had one of the squares turned around, but I fixed it and checked it several times before continuing.
It's good to show someone the top BEFORE you quilt it, that way someone will let you know if you goofed. Thankfully, people have let me know before I quilted it a time or two.
But hey, isn't that part of being "handmade"?

I don't think I've done enough to see a trend in my work. Though I am a Virgo and this thread has taught me one thing. When giving your qork to someone BITE THY TOUNGE! :D I do point out my errors when I'm working on it, or say "well it's not perfect", ect.

I tend to sneak a lot of purple into my quilts as well. and I love florals but sometimes when you are making it for someone else, they don't like flowers or (gasp) purple. I also have a tendency to point out my flaws.

Oh, mine are definitely all the same! They all have fabric of some kind, usually cotton, but sometimes silk or wool or linen or burlap or velvet, or any combination thereof...and each fabric is always some solid or pattern, printed or woven, in a single or multiple shade or tint, value or saturation of a hue...and it is all held together with thread, usually of cotton, but sometimes metallic or wool or silk or rayon. Yup, I definitely see a trend there! :D
