I love cotton lawn, it has such a beautiful hand. I lined my wedding dress with it, and it's wonderful for summer blouses, so lightweight and cool.

You don't have to necessarily purchase ONLY Liberty lawn, which is very expensive. You can get affordable cotton lawn in any well-stocked fabric store.

Here's a quilt made from cotton lawn purchased from Connecting Threads. The quilter describes her experience working with it.
