Default Help with block or blocks for king size Quilt...

We are going from a queen to a king size bed and looking for a beautiful pattern to use with these fabrics. My main focus is the butterfly fabric. Would love to get input as I have had these fabrics for years. Thank you in advance and wishing all a wonderful 2017,,😁👍

Very pretty fabrics, especially the butterfly one. The small stripe next to it is not working for me. Seems too dark. The green in the stripe works but not the blue. It will be beautiful though once done!

Look at Eleanor Burns wild goose chase. Use the butterfly fabric as your background to green and pink geese.

I can see the dark striped fabric for the bias binding as looking good.

I think the dark stripes fabric would make a good bias binding.

I love my Orion's star quilt by elenor burns and so does my hubby. We've had it on our bed for 3 or 4 years and still love it.

How about a Carpenters star? I am making a king one for my dad. The star fits the top of the bed and I added borders for the overhang.

I see that you have 7 fabrics but what about the turning 20 pattern? You can maybe use one of your fabrics for a border and I love striped binding. Personally I wouldn't do a bias binding unless you made a scalloped edge but that's just me.

I agree that fabric #2 is too dark for the other fabrics you have chosen.
