May your tears of frustration rust your pins.

When people were especially mean to me I day dreamed about their porch loaded with old rusty refrigerators or a pile of chicken manure delivered to their driveway!
Yes I have persevered during many of these mentioned curses: sewing without thread, bird's nests, missing fabric for one small piece etc. etc.

Yeah, we encouraged that, too. When she was a little older, the same child would tell the annoying kid in school that he/she was a "Farting Umbrella". Now make that into an acronym using the first letter of each word....

Chicken manure = my then 4 year olds' "chicken swamp poop"! Although at 4, she would probably have wished it to be dumped on the head of the annoying person.

My favorite quilting curse - May you find a dozen lost pins in your bare feet.

Yes, that one is kind of vicious.

Yes, we all wear shoes in the house because we all know that hurts. Strangers and visitors are warned before they get through the door.

These curses are horrible. I prefer Zozee's blessings!

I also like what the Bible has to say:
“Blessed is he who blesses you,
And cursed is he who curses you.” (Numbers 24:9)

I wouldn't dare to curse anyone, not even an enemy. Nothing is worth it.

you are right, of course, but it is fun to think about it on occasion. Can't resist temptation if you are never tempted.
