Help with identifying a pattern, please?
I saw this beautiful quilt and would love to know what the pattern is. I know that it's probably simple to re-create without a pattern but my brain just doesn't work that way. Can anybody identify this pattern for me? I would love to make it for my bed. A first...as my quilts all tend to be for someone else Thank you so much for any help!

You sew five 2.5 strips together, then cut them into 10.5" squares. Put one square on top of the other, with the stripes going opposite ways (top square stripes go vertical, bottom square stripes go horizontal) and sew a quarter inch seam all around the perimeter. Then you cut the square in quarters diagonally, like a big X. This will give you 4 blocks, which you then play with on your design wall.
Super easy and fun. I'm making one right now where I alternated light and dark fabrics.

I agree with Peckish on the general concept, but I think this is the 4 strip version, not the 5
