My sister passed away in 2009 and I got all her quilting supplies. She was new to quilting ,I had only been teaching her for a couple years. Her daughter is pregnant and I found a baby quilt my sister had started and I just finished it for her. Now I am not sure what to put on the label . I know my niece will love it knowing her mom had pieced it all together..... so I could use some help with the label , any ideas?

Why not say pieced by, your sisters name , and quilted by your name. That way she knows both of you worked on it with love.

Are you looking for a name for the quilt, or help in how to word who made it??

Definitely keep sisters name in there, how about
"Started in 2009 by (sisters name)
Finished by (your name) 2013"

For names ....

"An Angel watches you"
"From one Angel to another"

My sister died in 2003 and I received all her quilting things. She loved to make blocks. But she hardly put them together in a quilt. I took the blocks and put sashing around them and made the quilt and had a LAQ quilt it and gave it to my daughter. I didn't put a label on it, but I am rectifying that soon. I am going to say: Made with loving care by Aunt Carol Kaiser and Mom Jeanne LaRue, 2011; Stars in the Sky; Quilted by Tracy Severe.
