Help me Decide please!
I want to make a large quilt to use on our bed. I'm an experienced quilter but I have limited time. I have a large assortment of beautiful bright fabric and 3 meters of black and am looking for a pattern that is easy, quick and hopefully beautiful. Any suggestions? God bless all of you.

I did a Jacob's Ladder that turned out really well:

It should go together pretty quickly for you. Also check some of the "modern" quilts by Weeks Ringle and others.
Looking forward to your pics!

Double cut layer cake. There is no law you have to start it from a layer cake. I did one from yardage and really liked the outcome. Check out the tutorial on the Missouri Star Quilt Co. site.

Or there is another quilt tutorial at Missouri Star, You use a layer cake and a jelly roll but you can easily use yardage and cut it. It's where you take the layer cake and cut one straight cut at the 4" line giving you two rectangles one 4 X 10 and one 6 X 10. You take a ten inch strip of jelly roll and sew it inbetween a 4 X 10 and a 6 X 10 rectangle, then sew a 13" jelly roll strip across the top.
