Didn't Jennie on MSQC do that pattern on the left? I am thinking she called it X's and O's (would that be hugs and kisses)!! I vote for the left....

DEFINITELY THE BLOCK ON THE RIGHT….I think you will grow to like the neutral color you selected - it allows the brights to really POP on this…….Please finish, I think you will really like it once done…...

I like them both. I think the beige is great, BUT if I really wasn't that sure of it and didn't like it, I would not waste a batting and backing on something I didn't like. I would turn it into a small project. I'm not one to go into a project I don't like. That's just me!

I like both but would probably do the one on the left as it is different

Looks like your furry quilting buddy is pointing to the block on the right.

The beige (IMHO) makes the other colors "pop". Both patterns are nice, but the one on the right gives you lots of yummy quilting space.

The beige is a wonderful color. Just warm enogh to go with the other colors. I like the block on the left.

Take the one on the right and see if you can find a border (doesn't have to be a big border) color that would make those colors "pop" a bit more. Dark brown is an option. I think I'd use one of the other brighter colors (not the fawn) as the first border, and then a textured dark brown, and just see what happens. You may come up with other ideas.

I know you're not likely to use the quilt on the left because you'd have to make more blocks. I'm hearing in your voice that you're completely fed up with making these blocks and just want the project over with. Good for you for doing so, and not leaving it a UFO!

The one on the left; I see the colors more in it and the beige center give me a place to focus on the colors, the rows of 1/2 squares are just that, not place to rest my eyes. What about trying a combination of the two. body with the block on the left and a border with the 1/2 squares.
