Default Help with name of pattern please

RugosaB posted wonderful photos from the Sauders quilt show in Ohio. This quilt was one of them. Can anyone tell me what the name of this quilt pattern is? Is it a variation of the Hunter Star? Thin strips which form the pinwheels are different, however. I would appreciate any help. I love it. Thanks.

Looks like a variation on the D4P with a twist.

I saw that one too and thought that it was a beautiful quilt. Very subtle coloring and love the one flower block. Wouldn't this be a beautiful wedding quilt? Or birthday quilt? Or anniversary quilt? Gosh that quilt is gorgeous. Thanks for asking the question about the pattern.

I don't know the name of the pattern, but as Paper Princess said, it looks like a variation on the Hunter Star block. The only difference is the corner pieces are cut at a 90 degree angle (HST) instead of 45 degrees....
Of course that doesn't help you if you have your heart set on the applique part. )

Thanks everyone for your input. I think it's a variation on the Hunter Star too. Maybe someone here will have a pattern name. I will also check out the Eleanor Burns site.

I think I found it. It is called The Gretchen Block. There are several tutorials on blogs. I found it here on this site too. It doesn't have the applique block but I am guessing that would be easy enough to add. I hope this helps.
